“Tom Yum Goong” World Muaythai Championship is a Muaythai competition to find the Best Fighter of World Muay Thai in each weight division. It will be the touring competition to each continent in the world.
The first in a series of Tom Yum Goong events will be held at Central World (map) in Bangkok, Thailand on January 21, 2010. The event will consist of 9 bouts. There will be 2 titles belts: one male and one female. It will be broadcast around the world on various cable networks.
Tom Yum Goong World Muay Thai Championship Competition is a competition to find the Best Fighter of World Muay Thai in each weight division. It will be the touring competition to each continent in the World. Tom Yum Goong is the only competition that has the same competition criteria as the original Muay Thai at Lumpini and Ratchadumnern Stages.
Female World Muaythai 154lbs Championship: Miaria Bartlova (Slovak) versus Ana Goncalves (France)
Male World Muaythai 134lbs Championship: Osvaldo Ochoa (Protuguese) versus Jerson Highlander Estoro (Philiphine)
This tournament will be between 8 finalists that will fight through 2 rounds before the final two winners will fight to see who is the best in the 154lbs weight division:
